The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment (FMITI) is the Supervising Ministry over the Affairs of Association of Nigerian Exporters (ANE). The Association is part of the Ministry’s Non-State Actors under the aegis of Organized Private Sector (OPS).

The Nigerian Export Processing Zones Authority is a Federal Government Agency under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment, and was established in 1992 following the enactment of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Act 63, of 1992. 
The Agency is responsible for promoting and facilitating local and international investments into licensed free zones in Nigeria.

Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) is an agency of the Federal Government established to encourage, promote and coordinate investments in Nigeria

Kano Free Zone is one of the Federal Government owned Free Zone established pursuant to section 1 of Nigeria Export Processing Zones (NEPZA) Act 63 of 1992. Kano Free Trade Zone was declared an Export Processing Zone in 1998, however, in 2001 the transformation to Free Trade Zone was approved by Mr. President-In-Council.

LFZ management anticipates the needs of investors and provides necessary medical facilities, truck staging areas, etc and housing consistent with a professionally managed business environment.

The oil and Gas Export Free Zone Authority (OGEFZA) managea and operate a designated Oil and Gas Export Free Zone located at Onne/Ikpokiri area of Rivers State.

Nigeria Economic Zones Association (NEZA)’s main objective is to provide a common platform for interaction amongst free zone/special economic zone operators and their relevant stakeholders in Nigeria.
